The information is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European Authorities for the protection of personal data (gathered in the Group established by art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/CE) have adopted on May 17th 2001 in order to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data on-line, and, in particular, the modalities, the times and the nature of the information that the holders of the treatment must provide to the users when they connect to web pages, independently from the purposes of the connection.

The treatments related to the web services of this site take place at the aforementioned headquarters of the “owner” and are only handled by technical staff of the Office in charge of treatment, or others charged with occasional maintenance operations.

The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

For completeness it must be remembered that in some cases the Authority can ask for news and information according to the art. 32, comma 1, of the law n. 675/1996 (Art.157, D.Lgs. 30 June 2003 n.196 “Code for the protection of personal data”) in order to control the treatment of personal data. In these cases the answer is obligatory under penalty of administrative sanction.

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

The subjects whose personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction (art. 13 Law No. 675/1996 – Art.7, According to the same article, the user has the right to ask for the cancellation, the transformation in anonymous form or the block of the data treated in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their treatment.
